What can a Speech-language pathologist (SLP) help my child with?

SLP’s evaluate and provide therapy for a variety of areas that impact communication including:

  • speech sound and articulation disorders

  • receptive and expressive language difficulties

  • fluency/stuttering

  • voice disorders

  • feeding and swallowing

  • executive function/cognitive aspects of communication

  • social communication

  • AAC (Augmentative and alternative communication)

What areas do you serve?

We provide services in Lakeway, Bee Cave, Spicewood, Steiner Ranch and surrounding areas near Austin, Texas.

Where do sessions take place?

Daylight Speech Therapy provides in-home therapy services (we come to you) as well as opportunities for sessions out in the community such as local parks. We also provide teletherapy sessions if requested.

How long are sessions?

Evaluations are typically 60 minutes and ongoing therapy sessions last 45 minutes.

Do you accept insurance?

Daylight Speech Therapy is private pay or HSA only at this time. We can provide you with a Superbill which you may be able to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement of some or all of the costs of services.
