We specialize in evaluation and intervention of a variety of areas including:

Receptive Language

Understanding what others say including following directions, answering questions, object identification, etc.

Expressive Language

Sharing thoughts ideas and feelings including formulating sentences, naming and describing objects or people.

Speech Sound Disorders

Difficulty pronouncing certain sounds or having sound pattern errors, making it difficult to understand speech.

Social Communication

Also known as pragmatics, allows individuals to communicate or interact effectively with others.

Executive Functioning

Refers to a group of interrelated processes including: initiation, inhibition, organization, sustaining attention and more. In therapy, we work on these cognitive skills to execute tasks and interact with others.

AAC

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) describes multiple ways to communicate that can supplement or compensate those with verbal or written communication difficulties.

Fluency

An interruption in the flow of speaking characterized by atypical rate, repetitions, prolongations or blocks.

Sensory Feeding

Difficulty eating a variety of foods, textures and weak oral motor skills. Program will assess and address why a child is struggling to eat.

Early Intervention

Birth to 3 years old. Play based therapy to support infants and toddlers who are at risk for developmental delay. Parent training is a key component.
